Twitter FTS API feeds down 4/26

    Today (4/26), Twitter has been making changes to their API that have affected the Feed Them Social Twitter feeds for all of our users. Twitter is making more API changes now, many of which are relatively unknown. We are looking into this issue as well as having reached out to Twitter for some clarity and/or transparency.?

    At this time, we do not know how long the Twitter feeds will be down or how long it’ll be before we can restore them. Hopefully soon. And when we receive more info on these new API changes, we can pass these updates on to our users.

    We appreciate your patience while we work through today’s Twitter API changes toward a solution.

  • Is this still an issue? I’ve been having trouble connecting a twitter feed at all recently. I keep getting this error message: Oh No, something’s wrong. Sorry, that page does not exist?You may have entered in the Access information incorrectly please re-enter and try again.

    I’ve tried revoking the app in twitter, deleting all the feeds in the plugin and starting fresh, uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin but I keep getting the same error.

    Hi @jasmaunder,

    We are aware of this issue. The plugin is getting rate limited. (meaning it can only make so many connections to Twitter). We await Twitter’s response on this issue as we have applied for much larger connections. Twitter recently changed this without warning for all third-party developers.

    The issue clears out every couple of hours and resets the connections back to 0 for the plugin.

    We will keep you posted here! Hopefully, Twitter will respond back to us soon.
