Hi, it looks like the Feed Them Social plugin ignores these options when I set them to “Yes”:

    1. Hide Images in Posts
    2. Hide Profile Photo

Appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks!

Hi Justin! Sorry, I was completely mistaken about what the problem is, due to a miscommunication.

The actual problem is that the tweets don’t load at all, whether we use our access tokens or leave them blank.

Here’s the problem, on our test server:

    Hey Joe,
Ah gotchya, Can you please give me paste the shortcode you are using to display the feed so I can test it here on my end.

    Thanks,
    Justin

    Sure, here you go!

Not completely sure about this but I think maybe it’s possible it is the staging server not allowing a response back to the plugin

I tested your shortcode on our site and it is working.

Hey Justin, I’m able to recreate the problem on a completley different server and hosting company, using a stock WordPress theme — Twenty Sixteen — and no other plugins other than Feed Them Social.

The icons load but none of the content does. See link above.

Go to the Twitter Options page and add the Twitter keys, then empty the cache. Let me know how that works. Spencer

Hi Spencer, if I use my own API keys it works!

If I use the default API keys, it simply doesn’t show the content, only icons. I didn’t realize I had to use my own keys because the plugin wasn’t showing an error message.

Thanks for your help with this!

Ah, Yes! We just found out that our default token is broken. We always recommend using your own tokens/keys on all feeds. I missed that you didn’t have them set in the report! anyways, Thanks for your patience!

    Thanks,
    Justin
