twitter – login doesn't work

  • Facebook login is fine, but since wp upgrade to 3.9 when trying to login with twitter, this message comes: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class OAuthSignatureMethod_HMAC_SHA1 in /home/content/55/11214455/html/pinmania/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-social-login/hybridauth/Hybrid/thirdparty/OAuth/OAuth.php on line 138

    Any idea why?
    Is actual version compatible to 3.9.1?

  • I’m having the exact same issue, but apparently it was caused by a conflict with Live Blogging, which apparently has an authentication via Twitter I don’t even use. I deactivated the plugin and the authentication worked.

    There has to be a way to have both activated, though.

    Thanks for the tip Antares MHD. I will try and deactivate tweetlonger, a plugin that has an authentication via Twitter.
    But as you say, there should be a way to have both activated.
    I wonder if wp social Login developers read our messages here.

    AntaresMHD: You were right, I deactivated tweet tweet old posts and Login now works fine!
