    Is it possible for the share to Twitter pop-up to show a preview of the Twitter Card (which shows the image).

    This way, users know exactly what they are posting, and what their followers will see.

    That’s entirely up to Twitter.

    Right now they show a preview in their native mobile apps (when a Twitter Card meta tag is on the page), but not yet in their web apps.
