  • you need PHP 5.4+ to use this plugin, i tried to test it on my live website but it didn’t worked than i installed in on my local development server and i was able to use this plug in.

You can install wordpress locally with WAMP, XAMPP or MAMP server, Bitnami WordPress installer is another option.

Unfortunately the PHP error message doesn’t show if your server doesn’t meet the requirements. Hopefully they make the error message appear to users in the next update as it’s super frustrating.

Deactivated because there are no settings available on PHP 5.2.9

If you’re not running a PHP version of at least 5.4 on your hosting provider, then I *highly* recommend you ask them how you can update your service to use a newer version of PHP. Anything older than PHP 5.4 is notably insecure, not receiving updates, and slower than pretty much all newer versions.

If your hosting provider does not have any means for you to run a more recent version of PHP, then by all means, consider switching to an alternative host. PHP 5.2 was end-of-life in 2011. It’s time to move on.
