• I’ve got WordPress 2.5.1 installed with Twitter Tools 1.21b.

When I post a new blog post, Twitter is update and the update on Twitter shows it was updated with Twitter Tools.

    Problem:

My tweets never show up in the blog even though I have a daily digest selected.

My login check always fails but it’s the correct Twitter username and password.

    Question:

Why don’t my Tweets ever show up in my blog when it seems to work 1-way? If I do a blog post, it shows up in Twitter coming from Twitter Tools.

But none of my daily tweets ever show up in my WordPress 2.5.1 blog.

Uninstalling the plugin does nothing as it must connect back to the table again and whatever is not working is still not working.

  • I have the exact same problem in my blog.

    It just displays

    * No tweets available at the moment.
    * More updates…

Let’s bump this issue up since I’m having the same problem after upgrading to WP 2.6

Bump. I followed what some other people did and removed the references from myphp, removed, and reinstalled the plugin – did not work.

My login check always fails but it’s the correct Twitter username and password.

If the login check fails, nothing else will work.

If your login check DOES work, I might have your solution.

When I activated the plugin, it didn’t create the database tables (didn’t run the install function). I don’t know why this happened.

Try going to https://example.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=twitter-tools.php&activate=true (example.com being your WordPress installation URL). This should run the activation script and create the table wp_ak_twitter. After that you can click “Update Tweets” and you should see your tweets.

    Hi,

Is there any way to change the time format on Twitter updates?

Mine show up in 24 hour time, but I’d like to have it displayed in AM/PM format.

    Thanks!

    -Josh

Anyone who can help me I’d be much obliged. I absolutely CANNOT get it to recognize my password no matter what I do. – Tania ??
