• Twitter Tools works fine EXCEPT I would very much like the post of a day’s tweets to start and end at midnight. Right now, the “day” starts at 5 PM (GMT -7, which is where I live) and ends 24 hours later.

Can you please either add better support within the plugin for GMT adjustments OR explain how the plugin can be manually hacked to fix this?

    Thanks.

  • Been having the same problem. The draft post is being created at 5PM PDT (-7 GMT) which isn’t ideal.

I started hacking at the plug-in but wound up breaking it so I reverted back to the original. Part of the problem is the date that is inserted into the mySQL table is off by -7 GMT. If that was fixed I believe the plug-in would work as intended.

If I get more free time I’ll hack at it some more.

I tried using version 1.0 of Twitter Tools. That didn’t seem to make a difference.

You’d think even with the time difference, it would eventually be posted as a daily digest. But in fact nothing happens.

The sidebar works fine. Twitter is working fine. Just no daily digests after the Twitter API issue.

It started working after that, then a few days later quit and that’s it.

    Glad it’s not just me.

I’d very much like to find a solution to this also. Today it did the digest as it should have, but it missed about 8 Twitter posts that came late in the day, but before midnight my time.

Anyone have a hack for the start time issue?

Ditto! Want TT digest posts to run between 00:00 – 23:59 PST [local time]

    How can this be corrected?
