Twitter Tools Sidebar Post

When I try sending a tweet from sidebar widget of Twitter post, the screen stalls at “Tweet Posted”. In code I could see there is die statement, die(__(‘Tweet posted.’, ‘twitter-tools’));
I tried changing it to wp_redirect(site_url(‘index.php’));, but this seems to be not working for me, i.e. the tweet is either not posted in Twitter Tools or in Twitter widget from Suffusion (theme) – occured to me 3 out of 5 time I tried.
If anyone encountered the same issue or found a resolution, kindly let me know.
