Twitter username url

  • WordPress user profile asks for just the username
    Your plugin requires the full url.

    If I use just username it works with my theme’s author box but Twitter link doesn’t work in WP Biographia plugin…
    If I use the full url I break my theme’s author box.

    Any suggestions on how to get both to work?

    Hmmm … maybe I’m missing something here, but if you’re using WP Biographia to add a user’s biography to your site, why would you want an author box from your theme to be there as well, or perhaps vice versa?

    Hi Gary,

    Because my theme doesn’t currently have a short code to call it’s author box. So I can only create a team page using the theme’s author box bot not a separate contributors page. This is where your plugin actionable by short code would come in handy. But right now the Twitter conflict initially mentioned is keeping from deploying this solution.
