Two admin users for a blog, only the site author needs comment notifications.

  • Hello,

    I’ve got a blog with two admin users, one for the site owner, and one for us, the web developers. We want to stop receiving comment moderation emails, however we want to keep the site owner receiving these emails.

    I know there are the options under the Discussion Settings, but I’m under the impression these are global changes and not for individual user accounts.

  • Perhaps defining a “Moderator” role might solve the problem?

    It sounds like this would be make an additional account for the site owners?

    Ideally the site owner would keep their existing admin account and our admin account for the web devs would also stay the same except for stopping the emails about comments that need moderation.

    I’m sure that many web development companies have encountered this problem and I would think there’s a simple solution.
