• Does anyone know of a plugin which allows us to have two alternative page names?

For organizational purposes I like to name my pages with indicators of their purpose such as [Opt-In], [Webinar Registration], etc… However this is ugly and not user friendly for frontend users. So what I’m looking for is a way to have one name visible in the backend and the regular Title visible to front end users.

I’ve seen a plugin which did this with it’s own CPT, listing both “name” and “title” above the post editor – so I know it’s possible.

Is there anything like this, or some code you can provide, which would enable it?

  • Instead of the route you’re pursuing…

How about organizing your pages into appropriately named containers, eg [Opt-In], [Webinar Registration], etc?

Wicked Folders allows you to create virtual folders and organize your pages under them.

    Thanks for the idea George.

Wicked folders seems like a lot of work to build and maintain the organization just for me — and I might still do it ?? but… if I’m going to organize everything I’d prefer to do it once in a synchronized manner where the hierarchy matched the parent child structure.

No plug in for that as far as I can tell.

I wonder if one of the SEO plugins has a different “title tag” which could be seen from the All Pages columns?
