Two "Customize" tabs – both the same

    After updating to the latest version, i noticed that there are two “Customize” tabs in the Appearance panel. Both of them take me to the same customize.php page.
    Anyone knows if there’s a reason for having two of the same Customize tabs, or is it something wrong with my wordpress?

  • Hey. What theme are you using? Try activating the default theme (twenty thirteen) to see if this solve the issue. If it does, then the second “Customize” tab is being generated by the theme you’ve chosen.

    If this doesn’t work, try deactivating all your plugins and seeing if you still have the two tabs. If this solves the problem, activate each plugin one by one to see which plugin is generating this tab.

    Yep, the theme was causing duplicate customize tabs, the default 2013 theme didn’t have two “customize” tabs.
