    I have a WP installation on IIS

    I have 2 domains
    mydomain.com (primary) and mydomain.ca

    what web.config or IIS rules need to be set up so that mydomain.ca mydomain.com site?

    Note: thsi is a clean installand i can do anythiing as i have fuiill admin on the server.
    so a visitor hitting
    mydomain.com/this-page-has-some-info
    and another user hitting
    mydomain.ca/this-page-has-some-info

    This is really an IIS question and not a WordPress specific one.

    You probably will want to seek out some support resources that deal with IIS specifically so that you get the correct information. I’d hate to see you get steered in the wrong direction!

    but WP stores the url in the options table, how do i overcome that issue? that’s what I am after, so that guid, image paths etc are managed and work no matter what the domain

    WordPress isn’t set up to use multiple domains without significant modification (which will become a problem of maintaining sooner or later). You can run multiple domains on a Multisite Network, but I’m not sure that’s what you’re looking for.
