    Hello,

Double authentication via the mobile application does not work on my site. The “SKIP” is still present when it shouldn’t be. When the application is “ENABLED” it’s the continue button that doesn’t allow you to continue.

I’ve seen that there can be translation problems.

    Thanks

Hi @arkanite, thanks for reaching out!

We do see reports of the 2FA “Continue” button not working due to translation issue. For translation-related problems, please note that translations for all WordPress-related are community-driven. You may contact the Slack #polyglots channel mentioned in the? Before you get started?section for guidance in translating the plugin files correcrly. If you haven’t joined Slack yet, you can register for free using the instructions?here.?

Also, the option to disable the “Skip” ability for 2FA Onboarding can be done by turning ON the “Require Two Factor” setting in Security > Settings > User Groups and this setting is only available on the Solid Security Pro version.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply, but I have an option that appears when I activate the 2FA (see image).

Nothing tells me it’s PRO, I don’t understand. If I don’t check this option, it should work?

Hi @arkanite, I believe that setting is the “Skip Two-Factor Onboarding” not the “Require Two Factor” setting (which is only available in Solid Security Pro).

Enabling the “Skip Two-Factor Onboarding” setting means that when your users log in to your site, they won’t be prompted to set up their 2FA, but they can still configure their 2FA settings by going to their WP Profile page. If this is disabled, your users will see the 2FA Onboarding prompt when they log in. The 2FA Onboarding process is the one you see on your first screenshot.

If you installed Solid Security Basic from WP .org, you’re using the free version of the plugin, not the pro version.

OK, now I understand. There is a confusion with the terms used, the SKIP word is used in both places which creates confusion.
You should make the PRO options visible because it’s not clear to the basic user.

    A little feedback ??
    Thanks for your time

Hi @arkanite, I understand how the terms can be quite confusing. I’ll be sure to pass along your feedback to our team, and I appreciate you for letting us know. If you have other ideas, feel free to share them here, and I’ll pass them on to our team.

I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Don’t hesitate to spin up a new support ticket if you need help using Solid Security.

    Cheers!
