Two Fees with Different Conditionals

  • Hey Guys,

    Is there a way that we can have two fees applying on one payment gateway with different conditional logic?

    IE our client would like one 3% processing fee that ALWAYS applies to a gateway regardless of the purchase total. But they’d also like an additional 9.5% fee added to the same gateway ONLY if the order total is below $1000.

    Is there a way we can make both of these fire on the same payment gateway? It appears from my testing that we can only apply one set of conditionals to the gateway.

  • Hi again @simonbbs,

    Some conditions can be applied separately for main and additional fees (e.g. customer countries, customer states, product categories etc.), however unfortunately you are correct – minimum cart amount condition can be applied only to both fees at once. I will try to add it to each fee in next plugin update. Meanwhile, not sure if it will be good enough, but there is “Global Extra Fee” options – fee has less options, but it maybe good enough for your “3% processing fee”.

    Awesome thanks so much!

    In it’s current form we won’t be able to use it for both fees on that gateway simultaneously, however that update would be perfect for what we’re looking for. I’ll stay on the lookout!
