two home pages on menu

  • when I set a post to show as my first page seen, it creates a menu button for ‘home’ If I have already created a ‘home page’ I now have two showing on in the menu navigation.
    I only have this set up temporarily while the permanent home page content is being decided, but still…..

    Do I just need to delete the ‘home’ page until I am ready to create it, or is there some way to stop this from happening?

  • There is a plugin called “exclude pages” that will let you hide a page from the menu really easily

    I just deleted the “home page until i am ready to use it. Then the Post still has a home page button which is fine for now
