I have two installations of WordPress on two different servers.

Each is using a different theme.

In one, when I add an event to the EventCalendar plugin and I view that event, it looks exactly the way I want.

In the second, when I view the entry I see what I want, PLUS a box with the following text:

    Anyone? Please?

edit the theme .. look for div class=”meta” or something similar.

beyond that answer, you need to provide the NAME of theme, and a download link (where you got it from) or even better a fricken link to what you are seeing on the blog in question.

Sorry whoami, I thought this might not need a link or a theme name.

    The link:

    here

The theme is Lighted Bridge 1.0 by Allied Websites

I am slowly working my way thru the widgets and modifying the theme itself.

    Thanks for the help

Well, I found the culprits in several files, but the one that needed the editing was ‘single.php’

It had a ‘postmetadata’ call in it that was creating that text. Commenting that out got rid of the unwanted text.
