Hi.

I have two issues with TablePress 1.7.

My Setup:
I’m Running WordPress 4.4.1 and TablePress 1.7, running on the Divi 2.6.1 theme in a pre-production environment.

The first issue: An “Edit” option is visible on a published table.

Description:

I have created a table (2 Rows and 7 Columns) and have noticed that after saving the changes and publishing the table, I see an option/link to “edit” the table.

Is there a way I can disable this? because I wouldn’t want my customers seeing this or even clicking this link.

The Second Issue: A table of 2 Rows and 7 Columns does not resize.

Description:

The same table as above does not seem to resize to fit the width of a mobile device in portrait mode.

Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

For that “Edit” link: No worries, only you (or other logged-in users who possess the necessary access rights) will ever see this. Regular site visitors/customers won’t. If you still want to hide it (for everybody, including yourself), you can use https://tablepress.org/extensions/remove-edit-link/

For the second issue: That’s basically the general problem that tables have with responsiveness on the web. Your theme seems to be setting large inner paddings, which take up the white space. You could reduce that with some CSS code, or maybe check the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ for other approaches.
