Hello, I have two problems with Metaslider.

The first is that on one of the pages where there is a slider, the images are not displayed.

    Specifically on this page:

    https://www.alberguescaminosantiago.com/albergues/albergue-el-refugio-navarrete-navarrete-camino-de-santiago-frances/

I use many galleries on the web and this is the only one where I have encountered this problem. And I created the gallery exactly the same as all the others.

Secondly, for some time now (I don’t know what plugin update), the number of dots that appear under the gallery are exactly double the number of images in it; This way, each image appears twice when the slideshow plays.

And the same thing happens when you press the image transition arrows.

Can you help me with these issues?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @rlasaosa

    Thanks for using MetaSlider.

    Your images are showing an error like this: data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg xmlns=’https://www.w3.org/2000/svg’ width=’900′ height=’505′ viewBox=’0 0 900 505’%3E%3C/svg%3E

Please check if the files you’ve uploaded are SVGs. WordPress does only have limited support for SVG files. If you are using SVGs, check that your site is set-up correctly for that file format: https://www.metaslider.com/svg-images/

    Hi,

Thank you very much for your quick reply.

All images in the gallery are in .jpg format, like all the images I upload to the website; I do not use the .svg format

In fact, the rest of the galleries look normal, it only happens to me with this one.

I would also like you to give me some response to this second issue that I have raised.

For some time now (I don’t know what plugin update), the number of dots that appear under the gallery are exactly double the number of images in it; This way, each image appears twice when the slideshow plays.

And the same thing happens when you press the image transition arrows.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi @rlasaosa. The best advice we have here is to follow our troubleshooting guide: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/troubleshooting/. It looks like we have answers to the first questions, so please start from Question 3:

    1. Yes, all the slides
    2. No, only one slideshow
    3. Over to you for these answers …

    Hi,

Regarding the slideshows not being displayed, this only happens to me with the most recently created ones. All others work correctly.

I haven’t found any valid answers in the help center.

I upload all images in .jpg format

I have tried rolling back the plugin, and they still don’t work.

I have disabled the last plugins I installed in WordPress, and they still do not work.

I see that, indeed, images uploaded as .jpg appear in the source code as if they were .svg, and none of the plugins I use do the conversion from .jpg to .svg.

The only conclusion I can come to is that Metaslider itself does, I don’t know why, the conversion, since this only affects the most recently created galleries.

This is the last photo gallery page I created, today, uploading the photos in .jpg, and when inspecting the page it appears as if the images were converted to .svg when creating the Metaslider gallery.

I am really surprised and confused with what is happening.

Is it necessary to upgrade to the Pro version to obtain a solution to the problem?

Thanks for your response in advance.

Hi @rlasaosa. Thanks. We’re here to help. Let’s see if we can go through the help process here: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/troubleshooting/.

    1. Yes, all the slides
    2. No, only one slideshow
    3. Have you tried “No Conflict” mode?
    4. Are you using a legacy slideshow option?
    5. Do you have any cache / optimization plugins?
    6. Is your site up-to-date?
    7. It sounds like maybe you did this?

    Hello,

I have tried the steps in the help center, but they did not work.

The problem is centered on the LAST galleries that I have created, since all the others work perfectly.

    Please give me a solution.

    Thank you.

Hi @rlasaosa can you please try switching to FlexSlider instead of Nivo? Thanks!
