Two MC Lists, One checkbox per list

  • Hi, I have 2 campaings and 2 lists defined in my MailChimp profile, this is because I run a bilingual website, so its one per language. With the pro version of the plugin, I’ve succesfully created 2 forms.

    I’ve also 2 Contact Form 7 forms, each per language, but when I add the shortcode:

    [mc4wp_checkbox "Add me to your newsletter"]

    The user signs up but to whatever I have selected in the Admin Section “checkboxes”.

    How can I add the shortcode so that in the Spanish form, subscribe the user to the Spanish List and in the English form to English list ?

    Hi Ed,

    Right now, this is only possible using the filter hook mc4wp_lists so that basically means you can’t do this without having to add some code to your theme its functions.php file.

    I made a note to develop an easier way to change the list a checkbox sign-up subscribes to. I’ll try to squeeze this into the next version of the plugin.

    On a side note, as you’re a Premium user you can email me for faster support. ?? You can use the email link from within the plugin its settings pages.
