Two out of four sites working in localhost

  • I have 4 wordpress blogs installed in my localhost, two of them work and two don’t.

    I’m using MAMP/Mac and the way I managed to multisite is with different urls for each site
    The ones that don’t work give me different responses.
    The first one opens a blank page and the second one opens a download page. Been trying to solve it and I don’t find any solutions and it’s driving me mad.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Solved the blank page one, text edit was changing the apostrophe – ‘ – for an accent – ′ – so that caused an error not to access the DB

    Still with troubles on the fourth site that’s redirecting me to a download calles download weirdly enough

    On the 4th site:

    • Have you thought to check the .htaccess file ?
    • To check for database configuration error, temporarily rename the wp-config.php file, copy one of the others in its place, see if you get a page to load. If it does, then it is the database.

    Thanks for your reply, how do I check the htaccess file?

    I deleted the database and reuploaded it but I get the same result and it runs correctly on my online site, so I have no idea why it doesn’t work on the localhost
