Two Problems: 1-Description part , 2- Not Showing Excluded Categories

    Hi,

    There are two problems.

    First problem:

    We can’t select which descriptions we pass. There are two descriptions:
    – Short Description
    – (Long) Description

    Facebook Official one takes short description into account (which I made my arrangement according to that)
    This plugin takes -long- description and pass that. So that is why some users have complain -me included- also html codes pass along.

    So solution for the first problem: Can we select which one of the WooCommerce product page should be pass along? I want to select short one for example.

    Second Problem:

    When we defined excluded categories, that information doesn’t stay in the excluded category.
    In initial setup, i selected the categories that will be excluded, and yes plugin excluded that categories while in first sync. Later I went that tab, and now i see there are no categories shown there. For UX, that excluded categories names should be shown to user, so I will be able to add or remove categories to there.

    We will check the possibility of providing a snippet to have the option to choose between the descriptions that are synced. We will get back to you.

    Regarding the exclude category filter, currently, there is no option to save the selections. We will consider it as an improvement suggestion and will try to include it in the upcoming releases.

    Hi @auludag,

    Please copy the code snippet here to your active child theme’s functions.php. Adding it will force the plugin to sync the short descriptions instead of the descriptions.
