• I am using the mantra theme for my website and I wondered whether anyone knows if it is possible to

    1) Have a slightly different format on different pages, i.e on most pages I have a sidebar with links to different products but want to remove it from the ‘contact us’ page only. Can this be done?

    2) How do I change the order of my pages?

Thanks for any help, new to this and struggling!!

    1) Sounds doable if you set up a Child Theme first.

    2) What, the order that pages appear in the navigation menu?

    1) I have set up a child theme but I’m not sure how to identify the code for subsequent pages. When I preview my pages, eg ‘contact us’ and then right click, inspect element, it just takes me back to the home page again. Would it be in functions.php?

    2) Yes, They seem to default to alphabetical order and I can’t seem to change it so that the tabs on my home page are in the order i want them to be in.

re 1) OK I’m not sure why but I can now access the code for the individual pages by rt clicking and choosing inspect element. Should I be able to find and edit the relevant code in this way?

No, you can’t modify it permanently that way. There’s really no way for anyone to help without seeing what you are talking about – a link to your site would be relevant.
