• As far as I know, it was not possible a while ago. Is there any way to get around this one now. I have one hosting plan (lets say from something like HostGator), and I would like to have two separate WordPress Multisite installations on this account.

    Thank you.

  • on one server, yes, not a problem, I’ve personally seen a server w/ 3.

on one domain, no, afaik. But subdomains, yes, if there was only 1 domain and it was me I would put one in example.com then another network in wp2.example.com. (this would of course mean only using network sites as /directories/ and not sub.domains)

Ok. So it looks like, as of right now, it is possible to have one hosting account (regular hosting plans from companies like HostGator etc), and 2 or more WordPress Multisite installations…

I guess I would like to have one under root-domain.com, and another under second-root-domain.com. Is this possible?

I am just making sure, because I remember it was not a while ago…

    Thank you.

for sure, if you have multiple domains you can have multiple wp network installs. just like any multi-install server make sure the database table prefix’s are changed so that they each have their own sets of tables in the database!
