    Hi,

    I need your help on Publishpress Capabilities plugin.

    I created two different and separate groups: Group 1 and Group 2.
    Inside these groups, I want to add users with different roles :

    • admins : create/edit/delete posts ; add/edit/delete users ;
    • authors : create/edit/delete posts
    • subscribers

    Group 1 and Group 2 are really independent and cannot interfere with each other.

    I created one ‘special’ admin role for group 1 and one ‘special’ admin role for group 2 with Publishpress. For authors and subscribers I used wordpress native roles.

    I would like that users in group 1 only access to datas of group 1 on the website but as well in administration wordpress interface (for admins) and the same principle for group 2 only accessing datas of group 2.

    The functionnalities that I can do with each roles must impact only the group he belongs to.

    Is that possible with the free version? It seems that I’m limited with the free version to do that, see link below:

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi @dev2am

    Thanks for using PublishPress. Yes, that circles feature is part of PublishPress Permissions Pro.

    You can use WordPress user roles to divide users into groups for each post type. But you’ll need a plugin like Permissions if you want to be more specific.

    Yes, that’s what I’m looking for.
    Thanks a lot for your response ??
