Two sets of tabs?

  • I’m looking for a way to create two sets of main menu tabs – one that is left aligned and another that is right aligned and on the same line. The secondary menu should also be in a different color scheme. Has anyone seen this done with WordPress or a particular theme?

  • Yes, you can do this easily by floating two divs on the same line. Then drop a WP nav menu inside each div. Give the two floating divs different CSS selector names, so you can then give each menu its own look.

    Great, than I assume that most themes will allow me to add more than one menu and style the two differently, right? Or is that now a standard WordPress feature?

    If you can hack the theme files and work with CSS then you can add as many menus to a theme as you want.
