• Two quick questions about user access rights… (I’m using 2.0.1)

    1. Is there a way for the registered users to my blog to bypass any spam-guards (I use Akismet) when submitting a comment?

    2. Is there a way to allow my registered to edit their previous comments, without giving them any sort of editor rights (like, they’re not allowed to make blog posts)?

    Thanks!!

    Anyone? ??

    1) With Akismet? not that I’m aware of.

    2) By default, I sure don’t think so. You might, however, look into the Role Manager plugin. It might let you do that.

You may be able to allow that (or create that capability) with Role Manager.

EDIT: Apologies for the redundancy, Mr. Solo.

    What is Akismet?

…I thought everyone was using Akismet! So then what’s the best non-CAPTCHA anti-spam plugin out there?

    Role Manager.

    Great, thanks HandySolo & breakingball!!
