• Just successfully moved two very large WordPress sites using xcloner… THANKS! Interface (English) language is a little hard to understand though with a little knowledge all will go well.

I’ve setup the backup cron with success (creates backup on server) though I’m having troubles transferring to Amazon and ftp. Is there any logs that can be viewed to troubleshoot. I get a printout to screen though it doesn’t tell me much:

    Using configs/####.php as configuration file
    Starting ####/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php
Starting XCloner for site https://www.####.com at 2011-05-22 08:38
    Creating a fullbackup
    Generating Backup …
    Archive Name: ####BACKUP_MIRROR.tar
    Number of Files: 32227
Size of Original File: 697.43 MB
    Size of Archive: 721.31 MB
    Database Backup: ####_wp: Backup Completed ( 35.21 MB )
    ### END REPORT
    Backup Done
    Backup file: ####/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/####BACKUP_MIRROR.tar
    Starting ftp transfer:

… that’s it. No transfer exists in ftp or Amazon. Thanks for any direction!

  • I would advise checking with your hosting support on that, it could be a php timeout issue, which cron command did you use? Try using the first one indicated on the Cron manager page, with the php executable, that usually helps
