Hi all you smart people out there ??

I have a single wordpress site set up as is. I am considering creating a multisite with sub-directories.

My intention is to create the apperance of a single unified page, but in the backend to be able to use the plugins in two different ways (two different translations, forms etc.)

My question to you experts is: is it possible to (relatively easily) have the users log in only once when navigating from one one sub-directory to another? It needs to seem as if they are using a single page, and I therefore do not want user to have to log in twice (even if the username and password is the same).

Thanks in advance for any help ??

Yes, because with subdirectories, they share a cookie domain ??

Great. Thanks for the reply Mika. Wanted to be sure in order to know, if sub-directories would be the way for me to go ??

    Hi again Mika,

I am now playing around with a multisite, but I can’t seem to get this to work properly.

My intention is to have one multisite with two sub-directories ..and it is all to appear to the user as being one site.

Therefore I need users created/logged in to one of the sites to automaticaly be created/logged in (with the same role) on the other sites.

How would I manage to do this?

Well, anyone knows the answer to this one? I’m thinking, that I can’t be the only user trying to figure this out? ??
