Two-step process for adding a shipping method

  • When “Shipping by zone” is enabled, if a vendor wants to add a shipping method, they must:

    1. Go to My store > Settings > Shipping
    2. Click on a shipping zone
    3. Click the Add button
    4. Select the TYPE of shipping method (free shipping, fixed price, etc.)
    5. Then EDIT the method they just added, and set the method title, price and details.

    My vendors have trouble grasping the need to EDIT the method after they just added it. I must agree with them in that it’s not intuitive and could be simplified into a one-step process, that is: after they select the type of shipping method, the title, price and details are immediately displayed in the same form for them to complete.

    Hopefully you’ll agree that having correct and complete shipping methods is key for increasing sales.

    I’m really interested in this feature, I’m wondering if you have any estimated time when it will be available since I have to agree with Felipe as well.

    Unfortunately, it’s not clear for our vendors how they can configure their shipping by zone because of the 2 steps listed above.
