Two suggestions

Hi there,

Because I really love WpDiscuz and believe it’s the best comment form out out of all comment forms for WordPress, I’d like to provide these two suggestions for an upcoming update so that WpDiscuz will stay the best!

My first suggestion is for the integration with Postmatic. If Postmatic is used with their comment form Epoch, there is an option to trigger a popup (over the page or slide in from the bottom) after someone leaves a comment. Not only that, the name and email address that has been used for the comment is automatically filled in the popup so that the commenter only has to click on the submit button to subscribe. If that’s possible with WpDiscuz and the Postmatic integration, that would be great!

And my second suggestion is about the voting system. Often times comments don’t get a reply but they do get voted. If the commenter doesn’t receive any email notifications because he didn’t get a reply to his comment, that could demotivate the commenter to comment again or even visit the website. But if it’s possible to send an email notification when someone gives a thumb up, that will still be motivating for the commenter and chances the person will comment again will increase. So such a notification will be a great addition if that’s possible (with or without a Postmatic integration).

Also, I can imagine that not every blog owner would want the option to vote a comment down. So if the blog owner could be provided with the option to keep or remove the thumb down icon, that would make the voting system really complete!
