    Hello,

I am implementing TablePress on my new website, LowEndOffer

I put 2 table on my landing page, separated by a tab. But, i notice that the table size between two table are different. The content of the table are mostly the same?

Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong?
And how to solve it. Because it would be better if the size are the same.

Many thanks, everyone. And for Tobias, you Rock! ??

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason for this is that the width of the content in some tables slightly differs and due to that, the browser will add automatic line breaks in the header row of one table.
My suggestion here is to simply always add a line break in the header row cells, i.e. to simply press “Enter” there, so that the unit (like “(MB)”) is in a new line in all cells, for both tables.

    Regards,
    Tobias

I try your solution, it did not work quite well.haha

It is not a huge problem actually. The plugin work like i expected.

Do you happen to have any workaround regarding this? maybe on the theme’s side. I’d like to hear any suggestion ??

    Hi,

one idea would be to try setting the columns widths manully, with the CSS from this TablePress FAQ question: https://tablepress.org/faq/column-widths/

it seems that is the only workaround for this issue.

it takes patient though, to align it properly

    Thanks Tobias

    Hi,

yes, it will take a little bit of work to set the column widths, but it should be doable in not that much of time.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
