    Hi
There has already been a similar question(https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wordpress-role-armember-role/)
    I have two ARMember plans:
1 Free – user role “subscriber” (WP role)
2 Business – user role “Business” (custom WP role)
When switching to the paid plan “Business”, the user is assigned two roles – “subscriber” and “business”!
At the same time, in the standard WP user profile, only the role “subscriber” is indicated.
    Question:
How can we assign only one role to the user? If the “Business” plan is selected – the role is only “Business”?

This is due to the fact that the site has a complex management system, depending on the role – hide / show the menu, fields, advertising, select categories in a user publication, etc. Plus, depending on the role, additional actions are launched.

    Hello,

ARMember Lite does follow the WordPress standards and accordingly if you have selected the default role as “Subscriber” at the Admin Panel ? Settings ? General, here please check which role you have select as the default role.

Also, the role selected at the ARMember Lite ? Manage Plan at the particular will be added to the member, so the member will have the default role as well as the plan role too. And when the plan expires then the plan role will be removed. So, if you want only one role then you can select the same at the default and at the plan as well.

    Thanks
