• I just installed a new theme that I downloaded.

The page displays differently depending on how I visit the site…

    https://www.changeyourtree.com” displays one way and

    https://changeyourtree.com” displays another.

When I make changes, one will display the changes and the other won’t.

Sometimes, when I go to “https://changeyourtree.com/blog” or “www.changeyourtree.com/blog” I get a completely different version.

I am hosted through yahoo. Can anyone explain how to fix this so that the page displays the same no matter how I visit the site?????

Check the footer–it should read, “Copyright 2008 Change Your Tree : All Rights Reserved”

  • The addresses on the web are not the same. Decide which one you want to go with and stick to it.
You can even use redirects to not let one of them being displayed ever.

Which one is in your admin > Options > General, in the two URI values? That’s the real one ??

the real address is https://www.changeyourtree.com/blog – but I want my page to display correctly when people go to https://www.changeyourtree.com

Is there a way to do this?

I can’t change the blog url in the wp control panel because it’s hosted by yahoo and it blocks me from changing that. It says “your site is already configured to display the blog at the root directory” – that’s the problem, it doesn’t display the right version at the root directory!!!

    Don’t double post!
I am quick with the delete button…

I’m not sure I understand the issue – but I like the idea of your site – just thought I would throw that in…
