Hi, a friend asked for help with WordPress. He would like to have a frontpage before the “actual home” with two videos, site-to-side, with some text with links to different pages of the website.
In the website there’s installed a theme that uses WPBakery.
Is there a way to achieve this? Using an additional plugin would be fine, if not overexpensive.
    Thank you.

I recommend getting in touch with WpBakery support about this via https://support.wpbakery.com – as this is a commercial plugin they cannot help you here with it.

Thank you for reply but there’s no support for WPBakery as it was included in the theme (purchased time ago).

Anyway, I don’t need the page to be done in WPBakery, as said, a plugin would be fine.

I was also considering coding it myself in html an put it in website’s root (index.html should be looked for before index.php) but having everything made in WordPress looks like a cleaner solution…

WPBakery takes over the management of the front end of the website as soon as it is activated. A plugin that fulfills your wish should be compatible with it. Since, as described in the linked guidelines, commercial products are not available to us volunteers here in the forum, we cannot help you any further. This would mean that we would have to test a plugin that could be recommended with WPBakery – which we cannot do here.

If you received WPBakery as part of your theme purchase, I would recommend that you contact theme support. It is also their theme that takes over the design in the frontend. The same applies here as for WPBakery, in that no advice can be given in this forum.
