Two wordpress one database 1 login for all users

  • Hello Mates,
    Am thinking to start a new WordPress websites in separate folders with different themes.The issue is i want to install two WordPress sites and they should connect to single database in same hosting.
    Example:
    https://www.example.com —-> Site no1
    https://www.ask.example.com —-> Site no2 with sub-domain or with a folder
    the users of site1 and their posts & comments and everything should connect to both simultaneously with each databases… is it possible …
    and i am new to WordPress can u say me the instructions so that i have start my sits quickly

  • My first thought would be that you’d want to look at a Network. That way you can have two or more sites that are separate with different themes, content, etc, but share users across both sites and run off the same database.
