tynt 33 accross sent me a W9 form

  • I don’t know anything about advertising on my site. After I attempted to get “easy tynt” plugin working on my site I got an e-mail about “monetization of my site”. I don’t know how to verify that it’s safe to fill out the form with my SS# and let them put adds on my website. Does anybody know anything about that. Furthermore I don’t get that many hits (that I have seen) and am curious why they would want ads on my site. Yes I will ask them these questions but I want to verify that this is the way things are done and such???? Please help

    I have never heard of them, but advertising agencies asking US residents for Tax IDs and/or SSNs is a very standard practice. If you make over a certain amount, they are legally obligated to report it to the IRS.
