“Type” field not showing up on Add New Attribute

    I would like to add a color attribute with color swatches but the “Type” field is not showing up when I create a new extention, neither does it show up when I select “Configure Terms”. Does this option only show up in paid Woocommerce extensions or do I need to turn something on elsewhere?

    Hi Cali,

    The “Type” field was removed in the latest version of WooCommerce under WooCommerce > Attributes.

    Rest assured that they can still be added on a per-product basis under Products > All Products > YOUR VARIABLE PRODUCT > Product Data > Attributes. Here’s a screenshot of my local testing installation to illustrate that better:
