    Hi,

I have recently implemented your Free plugin on our WordPress 5.0 website. But I have several questions:

    > once activated I pasted the API key of our MailChimp account But under our MailChimp Account Settings sections, it still shows as if there is “miscommunication”. On one hand, it says “connected since… ” and on the other hand, it says ” we couldnd connect”…. Who is right ? If i click on “CHECK CONNECTION” i get the same error message.

    > Does your PLugin require me to use this “CONNECTED SITES” feature on MAILCHIMP by clicking on WordPress …or is that not necessary anymore since we provide the API key on WP side ?

    > Also i need to know what kind of Data does this Free plugin version send to MAILCHIMP ? Just subscribers syncing or data about purchases, abanduned carts, visited pages etc ? …. because we need to set up automation emails and retargeting (via MAILCHIMP) based on this bundle of Data.

Thanks in advance for your insight

    Eric

    1. When you click the “save” button for the API key under MailChimp for WP > MailChimp, do you see any error on top of the screen?

    2. Connected sites is only related to our plugin if you use the Premium add-on to sync your ecommerce data to MailChimp. The connection is made from our plugin and you should not have to do anything from your MailChimp.com account settings to connect the site.

    3. The Premium add-on support ecommerce sync, the free plugin can be used to create a form that will send in the fields that you added to the form, and it can also be setup to integrate with other forms including WooCommerce checkout and WordPress registration.

With the Premium add-on you can setup retargeting and other eCommerce campaigns.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!
