TypeError: Cannot read property ‘getEditedPostAttribute’ of null

    Hey guys
    I run into a problem today that prevents the new widgets page to display.
    I’m getting two errors in my console: 

    TypeError: Cannot read property 'getEditedPostAttribute' of null at value (duplicate-post-edit-412.js:1)
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getEditedPostAttribute' of null at value (duplicate-post-edit-412.js:1)

    I have the latest version 5.8 of WP and the error appears only on the newly introduced block based widget management page. When I deactivate the plugin the widgets page is working fine.

    Hi @vadims00

    Just to clarify, you are receiving these JS errors in your console when going to your WP admin dashboard > Appearance (sidebar) > Widgets? Or could you give us more steps in order to try and reproduce this issue?

    Could you check if you are using the latest version of Yoast Duplicate Post v4.1.2 as well as the latest version of all your other plugins and themes?

    Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

    Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.
