Hi! Since the 20220502 version came out I’ve noticed an error on all posts stating the following:

    TypeError thrown
in array0: Argument #2 (Shaystack) must be of type array, bool given

I didn’t have this sort of error before and once I rolled back to the previous version of the plugin everything went back to working normally.

    Thanks for checking it out!

  • Does deactivating and reactiving fix it for you? Somehow for me an error with the latest update I cannot reproduce anymore after deactivating Subscribe to Comments and reactivating it (for me it broke Shortcodes Ultimate functionality). As this happened on two websites this was not erroneous. I cannot reproduce it now however.

I had an identical issue, deactivating then reactivating solved it, it appears possibly related to PHP 8.1, at least on my shared hosting platform (using FCGI).

    Hi @relleenbetts

Can you update the plugin to the latest version and see if that helps? If that does not then, for temporary solution before its fixed within the plugin in the upcoming update, can you visit StCR -> Options section and then just save the changes and see if that helps you out to resolve this issue?

Sorry for the late reply, but as you said it was effectively solved by updating the plugin to the latest version and saving at the Options section (without making any changes to it).

    Thanks a lot!
