Types of attributes

Text and select work identical on the frontend, so we’ve made all select based. When editing your products, if you want to add a new attribute, rather than type them all in a line, simply click ‘add attribute’ and type the new attributes name.

I have an affiliate shop for bluray movies with price comparison
In order for the database to grow, my users can also enter data via a form.
These data (eg movie name, actor director etc) are stored directly as attributes.

Of course, the important thing is the EAN code, because I need this to find shops for the price comparison.
Previously, the EAN Code field was a text field and I could just copy the EAN code.
Unfortunately, this is no longer possible because the field is a Select field and I can not copy the number.

There is an ADD NEW button where you can paste the code in. Look to the right of the field.

Klick add new button, type the code by hand, copy my text, cancel the “add new”

Why do you have to type by hand? You can paste into the add new input field.

I need this entry for another plugin to search prices in affiliate shops.
