Typing is so laggy, I’ve given up editing on WP.

After a few hundred words, the lag between key press and seeing the letter pop up is far from instant. It starts at a few milliseconds, but grows to seconds.

Clearing cache? No change. Incognito mode? Fine at first, but slows down rapidly. Distraction-free mode? No change. Nothing fixes it, and I can’t opt for a different editor.

This is on every laptop I own, ranging from lightweight travel ones to gaming beasts.
