Typing Text – White

While I type my text is white. How can I make that black? THe current CSS I’ve implmented:

input.wpcf7-form-control.wpcf7-text, textarea.wpcf7-form-control.wpcf7-textarea {
    color: #000 !important;
}

input {color: #000;}

While the field is active and I’m busy typing the text is white – I want to make that text black so you can see what you’re typing.
