  • Hello,

    Is there a way to set the font family for this plugin to fonts already being used so as to limit the amount of fonts that need to be loaded? I see where to change the colors but haven’t been able to find settings for font family/weights.

    Hi @mattj678,

    We are sorry but there is no option to change the font family/weights.

    Could you please provide in the screenshot the element you want to change font family/weights.

    There isn’t a specific screenshot. I like the way it looks, I’m just trying to reduce font load to my site. What font/fonts does it use and how does it load? Is it something I can optimize if I can’t change it to match my site?

    Please note, the wpDiscuz uses the other font for the rating only. In all other cases, it uses the wpDiscuz uses the default font. You can delete it just navigate to the \wp-content/plugins/wpdiscuz/themes/default/style.css file find and delete the following line(line 86):

    @font-face { font-family: 'square721_cn_btroman'; src: url('css/fonts/sqr721c-webfont.eot'); src: url('css/fonts/sqr721c-webfont.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'), url('css/fonts/sqr721c-webfont.woff2') format('woff2'), url('css/fonts/sqr721c-webfont.woff') format('woff'), url('css/fonts/sqr721c-webfont.ttf') format('truetype'), url('css/fonts/sqr721c-webfont.svg#svgFontName') format('svg'); }

    Also, you can disable the “Load Font Awesome css lib”. It located in the Dashboard > Comments > wpDiscuz > Settings >Styles and Colors admin page.
