Typography This DOESNT WORK

  • Hi,

    I have seen at least 100 webpages complaining of the same thing and people just abandon the making of websites because of this.

    Tyler brought us here and his youtube videos on how to make a page.

    Then we all follow his directions TO A T on how to make the font control and the correct css to make the Headline and the Sub headline change.. IT DOESNT WORK.

    Randomly I found a reply on here where the support tried to help someone and I saw new css for the first time and it somewhat worked..

    .site-header .site-title a, Allowed me to change the SIZE of the header name of the site (not what I wanted to change at ALL) but I cant change the color or the font.. A font plugin that cant change the font.. just the size.

    The fact that there are at LEAST 20 pages on here asking for support on this and 100 websites – clearly this is an issue and something isn’t working.

    none of that works. The headline is completely UNRESPONSIVE.

    Please tell us how to control and edit this.

    I’ve completely lost my patience with it and I’m going to write it off. ??

  • 1. select plugins > Installed Plugins
    2. select “Easy Google Fonts”
    3. click on “Settings”
    4. select “create a new font control”
    5. Make the Control Name “Home Headline”
    6. In the “Add CSS Selectors” Section type in “.home-headline”
    7. click “Save Font Control”
    8. Repeat steps 4-7 for the Control Name “Home Subheadline” and the CSS Selector as “.home-sub”.

    This should resolve your issue.

    I’ve done exactly that SEVERAL times it does nothing.
    When I then go into customize – the fonts dont change in size.
