    Hello,

    I’ve got the Site Kit plugin installed and Analytics configured. The uA code appears to be present in the source code, but I’m not getting any hits in Google Analytics or seeing any traffic in the real-time report when testing. There are no caching / optimization plugins installed. Please advise! Site health info below:

  • @jarron09 thanks for your topic and these helpful details!

    I also see the snippet in the source code. Just to check:

    1) Are you viewing the site while logged out of WordPress?

    2) Could you check if you get hits if you view the site in an incognito browser window?

    By default, the exclude logged in users option is toggled on for Analytics, so you won’t see activity if you’re logged in.

    Hi Renee,

    Sorry for the delayed response!

    1. Yes.
    2. Tested in incognito, issue is still present.

    Please advise!

    Thanks again,
    Jarron

    @jarron09 no problem at all!

    Under Site Kit > Settings > Analytics, could you check if the Account, Property, and View (screenshot) match those for the property in your Google Analytics account admin?

    Thread Starter jarron09

    (@jarron09)

    Yes, these settings are correct.

    @jarron09 thanks for your confirmation.

    So from the information provided and the code on the site, there should be tracking hits present in your Analytics account.

    Some other additional questions:

    1) Do you have any filters configured for the view in your Analytics account?

    2) Do you have any another site using Site Kit’s Analytics snippet or another method where tracking hits are occurring?

    Thread Starter jarron09

    (@jarron09)

    Hi Renee,

    Looks like one of our filters was the issue. Deleted all filters and it now appears to be tracking properly. Thanks again for all your help!

    Have a Happy New Year and stay safe,
    Jarron
