Can I know why it’s not possible to import all your Drupal shop data (users, orders, products…) to Woocommerce automatically ? Why do we need assistance ? It’s not possible to do it yourself thanks to this plugin ?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

How to migrate a Ubercart shop to Woocommerce at the same domain name ?

I want to set up my new Wocoomerce shop at the same domain name as my old Drupal and I cannot keep 2 websites at the same domain name.

I need a Woocommerce plugin (to install on my new shop) that will upload the ubercart products from the old Drupal database, is it possible ?

Can I do this with your plugin or it cannot import the products if the old websites is not online ?

    Thank you.

    Hi makeonlineshop,

You can surely migrate a store yourself, without help. However, Cart2Cart offers a simpler way to do it.

We provide automatic import/export of the data you’ve mentioned, plus a transfer of additional entities that doesn’t break relations between them afterwards, and additional options to enhance migration results. The fact that the switch is completely automated also means that the possibility of human mistake is eliminated – everything is guaranteed to run smoothly and quickly.

There is a lazy option too. If you’re busy, after installing the plugin, you can outsource the entire migration procedure to our qualified tech-engineers by ordering one of our Data Migration Service Packages.

Might you have other questions – please contact our Support Team, it’s available 24/7

    Hello ubercartmigrationwoocommerce,

The transfer is only possible if your online stores have different URLs. Therefore, to migrate within one domain you’ll need to install WooCommerce into a subfolder so it’s address looks something like this (www.ubercart-store.com/wooocommerce). You’ll be able to change the URL after migration is done.

Also, make sure your stores are both online during the transferring procedure – otherwise, it won’t happen.

Alternatively, you can have data migrated from a database dump (which you need to create) if you order one our Data Migration Service Packages – such transfer isn’t possible in terms of an automatic transfer.

If you need more info, or migration assistance of any kind – please contact our Support Team

    Respectfully,
    Cart2Cart Team
