Dear all, yesterday I upgraded my blog to the 2.5 version and everything went fine and the site looks good on Firefox, except for some broken code that is now showing at the very bottom of the template, have a look:

    [redacted]

how do I get rid of these te-loader.php’); endif; ?> bits of code? any ideas of what I should do?

On IE things look quite uglier, there’s a huge mess now with the widgets, the biggest problem being widgets from the right colunm showing on the left column, how can I stop this? there are also problems with the style on the widgets, it’s somehow lost on IE. (I have to say I’m not very good at creating perfect coded widgets for IE!!)

Thank you so much in advance for your help!!!

hey LenK, thanks a lot! i’ve uploaded the wp-blog-header.php file again and the problem with the broken code is fixed! brilliant! cheers.

i still have some problems with the way widgets look on IE, is there an easy way to prevent some of the widgets from the right sidebar to show at the bottom of the left sidebar? before the upgrade i didn’t have this problem, so i don’t know exactly where the problem could be.

With respect to the widget problem I’d start with validating your code. You have many errors and these things are much easier to troubleshoot with valid code.

It took me a couple of hours, but ALL problems have been fixed after validating my code.

This Page Is Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional!
    Result: Passed validation

    ??

No more errors or problems of any kind. Thanks, LenK.
    Topic resolved. Cheers.
