Ugly code on footer of front-end

Yes, we’re using the latest version of your plugin (4.3.1.3) and the latest version of WordPress (3.5.1).

Okay… the first one is definitely me. I’ll have to take a look at why your site is doing this. I use the same function on many of my sites.. and receive no errors. So, please allow me 24 hours to see what’s going on there.

Regarding the second image… I have no idea why that’s happening. I can’t think of anywhere in my plugin that would have this affect. Does it still happen if you deactivate Ultimate Tinymce?

The problem in the second image appears only when the plugin is deactivated.

When Ultimate Tinymce is active all shortcodes work fine, of course.

I’m showing you that image because it’s an ugly effect.

Hmmmm… I do have a shortcode for entering linebreaks.. by using the [break] shortcode. But, you would have had to manually insert these yourself.

Do you remember inserting [break] shortcodes in that content from your image? Can you go back to that content in your content editor and remove the “[break]”?

Yes, I’ve put it there manually but I’ve put also other dozens and dozens of [break] shortcodes in dozens and dozens of posts. :'(

I should to take off all of them manually, so…

…I’ll wait your fix of the plugin. :o)

Well, unfortunately, the way WP is set up… is that if you use a plugin which offers a shortcode… and you become dependent on that shortcode…. removing the plugin will break all it’s associated shortcodes.

This does not just happen with my plugin… but it happens with any plugin out there which uses shortcodes.

One way around having to manually remove all of them… is to define the exact same shortcode in your functions.php file. This would replicate the behavior of the shortcode, when the plugin is deactivated.

Let me know if you would like me to help you setting up such a function.

Everything is fixed in version 4.4.
